The developer had already engaged a registered local contractor under a signed NZS 3915 contract, with the first tranche due imminently. Delaying would risk reputational damage in a market where relationships matter.

Atlas leveraged deep lender relationships to find a finance partner who saw more than just ratios. The structure accepted the unconventional equity position in light of project strength and sponsor credibility.

  • NZD 12.0 million fully funded against NZD 21.0 million valuation
